
Erin was introduced to Debra Quillen in 2002, helping with holiday floral work. Pursuing her creative interests, Erin followed Debra when Event Floral launched, learning about the business from the ground up. She graduated from Rockford College with a degree in Business Administration, Management with hopes of enhancing the operations and future success of Event Floral. Erin specializes in bridal bouquets and large scale installations, but enjoys all aspects of design. In 2014, Erin took over ownership of Event Floral, and continues to grow the business with a modern and quality-driven vision. She is married with 3 sons, Lucas, Nathan, and Joshua who are the joys of her life. She cherishes time with her family and friends and also enjoys running, creating artwork, and photography.
As Manager, Alyssa is the first person you’ll interact with as an Event Floral bride whether on the phone or in person. As a recent bride herself, Alyssa is involved in all aspects of running the studio. She oversees the daily and retail sales, seasonal merchandise and linen rental logistics. She also is involved in the preparation and installation of all of our weddings and events. She joined Event Floral in 2017 as a graduate of Western Illinois University with a degree in Recreational Parks and Tourism Administration and Event Planning Management. She has a catering and hospitality background. Alyssa loves helping our customers and is essential to our daily operations.
Hailey is a junior at Illinois State University, double majoring in Agriculture Business and Horticulture. She spends her summers and school breaks working on our many weddings and events. She has experience in flower shop operations and enjoys seeing a design vision come to life. Hailey specializes in event preparation and assists in processing and maintaining all of our fresh floral product received each week. In her free time, Hailey spends time with family and friends and participates in many professional and academic honors societies and activities.
After stepping down from full-time teaching, Pat joined Event Floral to assist during the busy event season. Willing to help wherever needed, Pat helped with the transition to our new facility and has become an integral part of weekly operations. During her time here, she has come to appreciate how much goes into creating an event. Pat enjoys watching the designers produce amazing creations each week, as each one has his/her own style. Her favorite part of the job is being surrounded by beautiful flowers, and as an added bonus, she gets to see her daughter (owner, Erin) using her God-given talents first hand.
herry’s love for all things pretty, especially flowers, makes Event Floral a perfect environment. Sherry is Event Floral’s main event delivery woman, set up team lead, and linen coordinator. Her attention to detail ensures accuracy and timeliness. Sherry explains her love of the job: “being surrounded by the beauty of flowers and the opportunity to make someone’s day special is both fun and joyful”. She also enjoys making custom crystal embellishments and gardening. She deeply loves her family, her faith, and caring for her cats.
Kim brings nearly 25 years of experience to Event Floral. With a background in retail management, and having worked for many years at reputable shops in Beloit, Janesville, Rockford and the surrounding area, she has extensive skills in many design techniques. At Event Floral, she produces wedding and bridal designs, every day orders, funeral arrangements, and large scale installations. Kim loves theming and executing displays and event decor. Her positive, energetic and expressive personality allows her to have fun doing what she loves. She attends design shows and keeps current with floral trends, and in her free time, she keeps busy with home decorating projects, landscape designs, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
nd decorating partnered with his modern, upscale design aesthetic are a natural fit at Event Floral. With a bachelors in Marketing and Public Relations, Jordan has experience in non-profit, corporate, political, and special events in Milwaukee, Rockford, and most notably, Washington D.C., as a member of Mrs. Obama’s social staff. Jordan keeps current with trends and enjoys infusing designs with reimagined traditional elements. Jordan manages the studio, overseeing staff, scheduling, production and day to day operations. He designs bridal and retail floral and also leads event set ups, designing custom, on-site floral and décor installations. He celebrates his love and near obsession with Christmas by designing and installing holiday décor for numerous homes, offices, and previously even the White House three years in a row.
from Bill Hixton Design School skilled in all styles of floral design. With over 35 years in design and roughly 50 in the floral business, Diane creates designs with the fuel of endless creative talent and vast experience coupled with a commitment to customer service and quality. For Event Floral, Diane specializes in centerpieces and large specialty arrangements, including funeral pieces, as well as the detailed personal corsages and boutonnieres. She is incredibly devoted to her faith, her church, and her family. Outside of the studio, she loves to spend time gardening, cooking and baking gourmet food and desserts, and arranging décor for her home and church.
